The Leather Lovers cover photograph shows a woman both in chains and whip (quirt?) of some sort. Typical outsider representation of BDSM.
Of course she could be a switch but I suspect that the photographer or editor simply didn't distinguish between sadism/dominance and submissiveness/masochism.
A violent drama of unspeakable torture!
Wonder if the novel lives up to the cover copy.
