Battling Girls Indeed!
The first work of Eric Stanton's that I recall seeing wasn't his famous Femdom illustrations. It was a comic book reprinting stories of women beating up other women while a highly amused man enjoyed the show. Until then had no idea that this form of entertainment existed. The Stanton comic was the proverbial tip of the iceberg. And since the internet makes curators us all I wasn't startled at all when I ran across a fan site devoted to the athletic competition known as Apartment House Wrestling:
This site is my homage to the fabulous apartment house wrestling stories that appeared in Sports Review Wrestling Magazine in the 70s and 80s.
I've also added stories from the hard to find Battling Girls magazines ...
The fight clubs of decades gone by I guess.
