As a boy I would see Sex to Sexty on the magazine rack. I thought it looked ugly.
Bill Ward worked for Sex to Sexty after the collapse of the American gag cartoon market. The magazine didn't pay much so Ward's work became rushed. I can't blame him for doing what was necessary to support his family. (It was perhaps around this time Ward started drawing for S&M book publishers.)
